Sketch Drawer

You can create a cool pencil drawing by using the SoftOrbits-developed application Sketch Drawer. You can load a single photo and convert it to a sketch. Or you can use Batch Mode to convert multiple images at the same time. No matter which one you choose, the simple truth of the matter is that you can create pencil sketches even if you’re not a talented artist.

If your computer can run Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, or 8, it will be able to run Sketch Dwerawer as well. Getting the application up and running is a standard matter: get an installer, run it, go through the steps presented by a setup wizard.

The Sketch Drawer interface is made up of three elements. The main one displays the photo you loaded. The toolbar at the top features several buttons: add files, save as, zoom in/normal/out, undo, redo, sketch, and batch mode. To the right there’s a toolbox that allows you to choose a preset, select a texture, and more.

Using Sketch Drawer is a very simple three-step process:
Step 1 – load an image into the application. You can do so by using the Add File(s) button located in the upper left hand corner.
Step 2 – tell the application what you want it to do. This means you can pick a sketch preset, select the edge strength, choose one of several textures, add a watermark, and more.
Step 3 – generate and save the sketch. Please note that the Sketch Drawer trial version will put a watermark on the sketch you create.
